A company identifying themselves as “Warranty Activation Center” has
contacted a resident with regard to purchasing an extended warranty on their
vehicle. This company cannot be
confirmed as legitimate. All calls
placed to the provided toll-free number by the Police Department have been
disconnected by the person answering the phone.
Any resident receiving calls from this
company, or from anyone they find suspicious is asked to call the
